SET THEM FREE!!!

Sometimes in life we carry some really heavy painful chains. They come in some forms as sadness, regret, dislike, anger, hatred, misunderstanding, jealousy. These can eat away at your heart and soul. Depression can set in... and a heaviness envelops you in everything you do. There is always something "not quite right" in your heart. But let me tell you something... there is no greater feeling in the whole entire world than letting go of these things that tie you down. Your heart becomes light... your thoughts more positive... there is a true happiness that enters your soul. Alot of times just asking for forgiveness can break those chains. Ask God to forgive you of these chains and ask him to free your heart from the burden that they have brought upon you. It feels so good when you do!!

In my bible... the words Jesus says are these..."Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." ~Matthew 11:28-30~

((and I like this verse))... "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." ~Colossians 3:12-15~

I have learned that even the things that seem the hardest to let go of... are really easy. I have also learned that your heart has to be ready to truly let go of the burdens you may carry. Sometimes it can start by just asking for your heart to be prepared for the release of your burdens. Then... when it is time... it will be easy and you will feel so much better on the inside. And like me... wonder what took me so long! No one heals inner hurts and pains unless they are willing to give them up. Take it from me... they are not worth holding onto.
